Description
The hCG pregnancy test will help you find out quickly and easily if you are pregnant . Check the result in just a few minutes. The test strip contains substances that react to the presence of the hCG hormone in the urine. The single HCG pregnancy test measures the presence of the human hormone (chorionic gonadotropin) in human urine. It serves for the early detection of pregnancy. After the embryo attaches to the lining of the uterus, the placenta begins to produce HCG. A few days after fertilization, the concentration of hCG in the blood increases to such an extent that this increase can be detected by a test .
Collection and handling of urine samples
To perform this test, collect the urine sample in a clean, dry container (such as a plastic jar). The first urine in the morning is ideal (it contains a higher concentration of HCG). However, a urine sample collected at any time of the day can be used. After performing the test , discard the used material (test crucible + used test strip).
Instructions for use
- Collect the urine sample in a clean, dry container. The ideal sample is the first morning urine.
- Remove the test strip from its protective packaging.
- Dip the test strip into the collected urine so that the marked arrow points to the urine sample.
- Do not immerse the test strip in urine above the marked MAX (maximum) line. Otherwise, the test will not run correctly.
- After 15 seconds, remove the test strip from the urine sample and place it on a horizontal, non-absorbent, clean and dry surface (eg the top of the urine container).
- You can see a positive result within 40 seconds (depending on the concentration of hCG in the urine sample). However, to confirm a negative result, it is necessary to wait less than 5 minutes for the reaction to take place completely.
Positive result
Two distinct colored lines clearly appeared in both control © and test (T) areas. This means that the hormone hCG has been detected in the urine and there is a high probability of pregnancy. The detected lines may be faint and one line may be lighter than the other, but it is still a positive result. dashes do not have to match in strength or color.
Negative result
A single colored line appeared in the © control area. No colored line is evident in the test area (T). This indicates that you are not pregnant or that you took the test too early. If you are not sure, repeat the test again in the next 48 hours.
Invalid result
No colored line appeared in both control © and test (T) areas. Repeat the test with a new test strip. Invalid test results may be caused by the absorbent tip not being fully wetted or by reading the test result too early or too late (after more than 5 minutes).
Warning
For in vitro diagnostic (ivd) use only, not for internal use. Please read the instructions for use carefully before performing this test. Follow each step exactly according to the attached instruction manual. Do not use after the expiration date indicated on the protective packaging. Each single-use HCG pregnancy test can be used only once, not repeatedly. Do not use the test if the protective packaging is damaged. After opening the protective packaging, the test must be used immediately. After use, discard each single-use test strip, including used urine and used test material. Treat used material as potentially infectious. Avoid skin contact. Keep out of reach of children.
