How to use:

Applying blood to the test strip

• Option: Glucose strip test: Insert the strip into the meter. Using a lancet, prick the side of your fingertip. To better form a drop of blood, rub your finger toward the tip and apply light pressure. Place a drop in the center of the orange field and remove your finger from the test strip. The measurement result should appear on the meter screen after a few seconds
• Option: Non-glucose strip test: Use a lancing device to prick the side of your fingertip. To better form a drop of blood, rub your finger toward the tip and apply light pressure. Place a drop in the center of the orange field and remove your finger from the test strip. Insert the test strip into the guide in the direction indicated by the arrows. The test strip should clearly click into place. The measurement result should appear on the meter screen after a few seconds.

Precautions:

• Test strips are very sensitive to humidity
• Do not remove the tests with wet hands and close the test strip container with the original cap immediately after removing the test
• The test container cap contains a desiccant that protects the tests from moisture
• If moisture enters the container, for example from wet hands, or if the container is left open for a prolonged period, the desiccant loses its effectiveness
• Using unusable test strips may lead to incorrect results.

Warnings:

• Use only test strips that have not yet expired
• Do not remove the test strip from the container with wet hands
• Carefully close the test collection container
• Do not bend the test strip when inserting it into the meter
• Do not bend or move the test strip before or while applying blood to it or during the measurement
• Store in a dry place, out of the reach of small children
• New strip packs do not include an activation key. The straps work with old keys; in the event of a malfunction, the service will send the key free of charge.
