EFFECOL JUNIOR EPSILON HEALTH is recommended for the treatment of chronic constipation in children over 2 years of age and weighing over 10 kg.

It is a laxative medical device that, through osmotic action, promotes natural medical transit.

It is not absorbed and does not ferment in the stomach, does not irritate the mucosa and is eliminated through feces.

It is especially indicated in situations of chronic constipation and occasional intestinal disorders.

Due to its affinity for water, EFFECOL JUNIOR EPSILON HEALTH makes the stool softer, facilitating evacuation without causing cramps or abdominal pain and without leading to urgent needs.

It is presented in powder form in sachets for the preparation of an oral solution.

Composition:

Each sachet contains 6.563 g of Macrogol 3350.

How to use: 

• Children between 2 and 6 years: one sachet, once a day
• Children between 7 and 12 years: 2 sachets a day
• Open the sachet and dilute the contents in 62.5 ml (approximately half a glass of plain water).

Contraindications:

Do not administer in case of

• Intestinal stenosis
• Intestinal perforation
• Inflammatory bowel diseases (e.g. Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis)
• Intestinal obstruction.

Precautions:

• Do not administer the product to children under 2 years of age
• It is not recommended to exceed the recommended doses, as higher doses may lead to unexpected side effects
• If the treatment lasts more than 30 days, it is recommended to stop treatment with EFFECOL JUNIOR EPSILON HEALTH for at least 3-5 days
• Do not administer in case of intolerance to the product
• Do not administer in case of known hypersensitivity to the components and to polyethylene glycol
• Each sachet is for single use and should only be opened at the time of use.
