Drontal CatInternal antiparasitic for cats, 2 tablets, Vetoquinol 

Drontal Cat is an antiparasitic for cats in the form of tablets against segmented worms and roundworms.

Indications:

For the treatment of nematodes, cestodes and hookworms in cats

• Nematodes: Toxocara cati (T. mystax), Toxascaris leonina
• Ancylostoma tubaeforme, Ancylostoma braziliense
• Cestodes: Dipylidium caninum, Echinococcus multilocularis, Taenia spp, Mesocestoides spp, Joyeuxiella pasqualei.

Composition:

1 Drontal Cat tablet contains 230 mg pyrantel embonate and 20 mg praziquantel.

Dosage and administration:

• The dose is 5 mg praziquantel, 57.5 mg pyrantel embonate per kg of live weight
• This is equivalent to 1 tablet per 4 kg of live weight
• The product is administered as a single dose
• Drontal Cat is very well tolerated
• No special dietary measures are required
• The tablets are administered orally, preferably mixed into a piece of meat, cheese or other food.

Precautions:

• Since sufficient studies have not been conducted for this combination, Drontal Cat should not be administered during pregnancy
• Drontal Cat should not be administered concomitantly with piperazine-based compounds
• STRICTLY FOR VETERINARY USE.
