What are TENS and EMS currents?

• TENS (Transcutaneous Electrical Nerve Stimulation), i.e. transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation - a method of non-pharmacological and non-invasive pain treatment. Used in post-traumatic conditions, diseases and other dysfunctions that cause pain.
• EMS (Electrical Muscle Stimulation) – low frequency currents used in the therapy of affected muscles. The Balansen electrostimulator can replace strength equipment - multi-rooms, all weight machines. The current transmitted through the electrodes directly affects the muscles, causing them to contract and forcing them to work (just like in the case of classic exercises). Thanks to this, you can use a minimum number of equipment during training, without loading your joints and spine with heavy strength exercises.

The intensities used by the Balanssen electrostimulator are safe for humans. The small device is light and handy, and a special clip allows it to be attached to a belt or pants, so electrotherapy time is not limited by space.
