We decided to extract the tincture of propolis in 70 degrees alcohol, not 96 degrees as practiced by 99% of its producers. I made this decision taking into account the latest treatises on apitherapy developed by German apitherapists.This method ensures a superior quality of the tincture. Thus, the tincture extracted in 60 degree alcohol does not extract enough propolis compounds and the one in 90 degree alcohol destroys part of the already extracted compounds.
(70% ethyl alcohol, 30% propolis) represents the most efficient method to benefit from the multiple properties of propolis.
