How to play Ticket To Ride First Trip ?

In Ticket to Ride: The First Journey , players collect train cards to claim routes on the map and connect cities listed on their ticket cards. The goal is to be the first player to complete 6 tickets and win the game. Here's a quick guide to get you started:

1. Configuration :

   • Place the game board in the center of the table.
   • Each player gets 20 plastic trains of one color.
   • Shuffle the train cards and deal 4 random cards to each player. The rest of the cards form the train pile.
   • Shuffle the ticket cards and deal 2 random ticket cards to each player. The rest of the cards form the ticket pile.
   • Place the bonus cards and the golden ticket card next to the game board.

2. How to play :

   • Draw Train Cards : On your turn, you may choose to draw two train cards from the deck.
   • Claim a route : Play train cards from your hand to claim a route on the board and place your plastic trains on that route.

3. Route claim :

   • To claim a route, you must play the train cards that match the color and number of the route spaces. Place a plastic train on each space of the route.
   • You can claim any route on the board that hasn't been claimed yet, even if it's not connected to your existing routes.
   • Locomotive cards are jokers and can be used in place of any suit of train cards.

4. Completing a ticket :

   • When you've built a continuous line of trains between the two cities on your ticket, congratulations! You have completed a ticket. Announce the other players and turn the ticket face up in front of you. Draw a new ticket card from the deck.

5. East to West Bonus Ticket :

   • If you have a continuous train line from one city to another, you've won the East to West bonus ticket! Say " From East to West !" and take a bonus ticket by placing it in front of you.

6. End of the game :

   • The game ends immediately when a player completes the sixth ticket. This player is the winner and receives the golden ticket card as a reward.
   • The game can also end if a player places their last train on the board. In this case, the player with the most completed tickets wins. If there is a tie, all tied players win together.
